The concept in this apartment design was driven from an analysis of a skateboard.
The board’s top is only functional and has no visual impact. The bottom, on the other hand – is all about visual and graphics and has no function at all. While skating, you need to make an effort in order to “expose” the bottom and is it the most rewarding part of skating.
This apartment putts the function in front, and when entering it you feel as if this is all there is to it. After walking all the way to the end – you suddenly see all the color and beauty of it.
